Raft building- Day two- Group A

Raft building for group one  yesterday was a fabulous adventure. The children learn knot tying and strategic planning. They had 45 minutes to build the raft and had only 20 Seconds to spare!

Louis it turns out is an amazing knot specialist and Byron set himself apart through planning and creative thinking.

Omar's quiet motivation of others was a real benefit to the team.

Abdul manned the safety canoe with James and managed a full head shoulders knees and toes rendition  without getting a drop of water on his pot! Quite a feat.

I would also just like to say that Ruben, Jack and  Thomas showed determination in the face of tiredness which impressed us all.

Bobby was such a diligent tidier that he began  unknotting his ropes before the boat landed. This actually proved to be a help in getting  everyone motivated and gave us chance for some pontoon diving.

Wonderful team work folks!

The camera did not accompany us on the next jaunt as every member ofthe team got well and truely soaked. However I can tell you that I have never seen a finer rendition of heads, shoulders, knees and toes than this afternoon. Every member of the team managed to get themselves into the standing position on the raft, in the middle of the lake and complete the song without falling in, well almost everyone! Louis went for a bit of a swim and them through the guile of the instructor we all got very very wet!

Pontoon diving was the ending to our adventure, the dives were pretty creative, with penguins, bombs and running man making an appearence. Bobby's 180 sheep dive was pretty spectacular.
