Day One- climbing the hill, tackling the tower and Weaselling

The children continued their adventures with a treack up to the pinacle and tower. It is a long walk, but we kept busy with singing and chanting- to be honest I think people in the neighbouring valleys may have heard us!

Louis and Rohan volunteered to carry all the luggage, which was chivalrous. however after one field the bags did return to their rightful owners.

The tower gave an amazing view of the surrounding area and also gave a little chance for some seige role play.

After admiring the view and defeating the incoming army (imaginary!) we then moved onto the weaselling.
The children followed instructor james through a range of smaller and smaller gaps. They showed incredible bravery and teamwork throughout this challenge. It was lovely to see them cheering each other on and supporting each other when the going got tricky. There were proud smiles all round by the end.
